Infrared Asphalt heater can heat up to 1000 degrees, heating the asphalt up to 450 degrees two inches down. Scrape the asphalt, add asphalt binder, even out with the lute compact with vibratory compactor plate. Ideal for large crack repairs. Heat and add asphalt to heavy vehicle wear marks in the asphalt. Patch alligator cracks.

“it’s better to have 6 inches of base and 4 inches of asphalt then to have 6 inches of asphalt and 4 inches of base.” The most important thing is to start with a good base, compact every two inches. Once asphalt has started to alligator there is a good chance that the base has been compromised, and the only thing to do is R&R the area.
